Key Performance Indicators
The dashboard displays several key metrics to track your bundle health:
| KPI | Description | Calculation |
|---|---|---|
| Total Revenue | Sum of all bundle sales | Sum of order_line totals |
| Gross Profit | Revenue minus Cost of Goods Sold | Revenue - (Component COGS × Qty) |
| Gross Margin | Profit as percentage of revenue | (Gross Profit / Revenue) × 100 |

| Orders | Total orders containing bundles | Count of unique orders |
| Avg Order Value | Average revenue per bundle order | Total Revenue / Bundle Orders |
Profitability Cards
Each bundle gets a profitability card showing:
Grade System (A-F)
Bundles are graded based on their gross margin percentage:
| Grade | Gross Margin | Color |
|---|---|---|
| A | ≥ 50% | Green |
| B | 35% - 49% | Blue |
| C | 20% - 34% | Yellow |
| D | 10% - 19% | Orange |
| F | < 10% | Red |
Note: To see accurate profitability grades, you need to set up COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) for your products in the COGS settings page.
Stockout Risk Table
The Stockout Risk table shows bundles at risk of running out of inventory. It displays:
- Bundle Name: The product bundle
- Components: Individual products in the bundle
- Stock Level: Current inventory count
- Days Until Stockout: Estimated days until inventory runs out
- Risk Level: High / Medium / Low
How Risk is Calculated
Stockout risk is determined by:
- Average daily sales velocity (last 30 days)
- Current inventory level
- Reorder lead time (if configured)
Tip: Set up low inventory alerts in your Shopify admin to get notified when products run low.
Cannibalization Alerts
Cannibalization analysis helps identify when bundles compete with individual products for sales.
What is Cannibalization?
Bundle cannibalization occurs when:
- Customers buy the bundle instead of individual products
- You make less profit on the bundle than selling items separately
- Bundle pricing doesn't incentivize the multi-item purchase
How to Use This Data
When cannibalization is detected:
- Review the affected bundles
- Consider adjusting bundle pricing
- Try adding exclusive items to bundles
- Compare profit margins between bundle and individual sales
Pro Feature: Cannibalization analysis is available on the Pro plan ($49/month).
