Getting Started with BundleIQ
Learn how to install and set up BundleIQ for your Shopify store
Installation
BundleIQ is available on the Shopify App Store. To install:
- Visit the BundleIQ App Store page
- Click "Add app" to install BundleIQ
- Review the permissions required and confirm
- You'll be redirected to your Shopify admin to authorize access
Required Permissions: BundleIQ needs read access to your products, orders, and inventory to analyze bundle performance.
Connecting Your Store
After installation, BundleIQ uses Shopify's OAuth to securely connect to your store:
- You'll see a welcome screen prompting you to connect
- Click "Connect Store" to authorize BundleIQ
- Allow the required permissions when prompted
- You'll be redirected back to the BundleIQ dashboard
First-Time Setup
Once connected, BundleIQ will automatically:
- Scan your products to detect existing bundles
- Sync your order history (last 30 days on Free plan)
- Calculate initial bundle metrics
- Display detected bundles on your dashboard
Initial Data Sync
BundleIQ syncs data from Shopify in two ways:
Automatic Sync
- Real-time: New orders are synced via webhooks as they come in
- Daily: Metrics are recalculated daily via scheduled job
- On-demand: Click "Sync Now" in Settings to force a sync
Webhook Events
BundleIQ listens to these Shopify webhook events:
- orders/paid - New order received
- orders/updated - Order modified
- orders/fulfilled - Order shipped
- refunds/create - Refund issued
- products/update - Product details changed
- app/uninstalled - App removed
Tip: The initial sync may take a few minutes depending on your store's order history. You can continue using the app while syncing happens in the background.
